Do you have sales or Promotions?
Yes, we do indeed have sales and promotion periods during certain holidays. However, we have a set discount for these periods. We only offer 5% off hoodies and 10.5% off any items besides hoodies.
Why are the discounts so low compared to price during sales?
Our prices already reflect a modest premium above our costs for sourcing and delivering each product. Some other places that might have heavy discounting during periods like Black Friday or Cyber Monday have much lower costs to produce and manufacture each product. These places will also regularly list their normal prices higher than we do, so that they can discount the products more during sale and promotion periods.
They may also mass produce clothing from factories if they are a large brand, or if they are a smaller brand they may source clothing stock from China in bulk with varying degrees of clarity on the prints.
The biggest issue we face is that we only make a couple of dollars in profit after each item is delivered. Our customers are already getting the lowest price we can afford to offer our products at.
We are also required to pay for the merchandise before it ships to the customer. On some platforms, such as TikTok Shop, we don’t receive a payment until 30 days after the item has been delivered to the customer to ensure there are no refunds after funds have been settled.
Why are the products so expensive?
We are a print-on-demand design seller. We don’t manufacture the products ourselves, and we are not in the business of mass producing goods in clothing factories, and we don’t want to use less than adequate suppliers.
Because of that, we use a quality print supplier and are only involved in the design of products that are outsourced to the print supplier to deliver to each customer.
Before beginning this venture, we researched various print suppliers. Some of them offered lower production costs at the expense of lower product quality and occasional delivery/defect issues. We did not want to have any risks of customers not being satisfied with a product because of manufacturing defects or lower-quality clothing material and fabrics. We also wanted to keep our return rates low and customer satisfaction high.
The print supplier we use utilizes high-quality materials, quality fabrics, and special graphic printing processes to ensure each product is a collectible, top-quality item that will have fewer issues with defects or customer satisfaction than other suppliers.
Do you offer free shipping?
We recently introduced free shipping for any orders totaling $100 before tax whether they’re discounted or on sale or not.
Why do you not offer Returns or Exchanges for things other than shipment errors/defects?
Unfortunately, we cannot offer returns and exchanges for any reasons which we are not at fault for. For this reason, we do not sell on platforms such as Amazon.
We do plan on one day opening up a sample shop mini store front where people can come visit and feel the fabrics, feel the print graphics, and try on samples which we will wash every week in various sizes with a way to order securely online within the store. We are too small to get to that venture right now.
We do plan on offering returns and exchanges in the future, however we do not have enough orders and sales right now to do so. Once we’ve achieved some growth, we plan on offering more flexibility to our customers
Do you offer store credit as an alternative to replacement?
- Unfortunately we do not offer store credit as we cannot offer refunds unless the product is defective. In that situation we do not even require a shipment back of the defective item, which is very reasonable. We still will send out a replacement.
Why do the product pages list “EU Warranty: 2 years” — but the return policy is 30 days. What does the EU warranty cover?
- The EU has a 2-year statutory conformity warranty (a legal right for EU customers). This is a legal compliance requirement for EU sales for which we have listed EU contacts for claims.
Why do I see two versions of the same hat — one labeled “Anonymous” and one labeled “Anomymous”? Is this a typo or are they different products?
- The Japanese language and natives of Japan speak English differently when they first pronounce the words they learn in English. Similar to how a US native English speaker pronounces Japanese differently when learning. “Anomymous” represents a mistaken pronounciation for when the word “Anonymous” is spoken. Similar to how the rough translation of our Kanji print for “—– Driver” translates to “Drai-bah”. We utilized this as a bit of a comical addition to our hats/caps, but it actually indeed is what occurs when speaking to certain Japanese natives who start speaking English, along with various other words spoken the same way. For this reason we offer two options, “Anonymous” and “Anomymous”.
- However, we’ve noticed from some comments on customer feedback requests that they don’t understand this, so our newer designs only feature the “Anonymous” spelling. The hats and caps still offer both options. We may in the future change our Release 1 shirts to reflect both options instead of just “Anomymous”.
- Also, our founder can read the English equivalent to Kanji as if he is speaking Japanese, and understands and can speak a bit of conversational Japanese through teachings from his judo sensei who is a Japanese Native. We would love to share a video of a speech he made spoken in Japanese, however that would defeat the purpose of being Anonymous. A big part of the brand was using this culture to define a new brand.
Do you ship internationally? Which countries?
We ship Worldwide to almost every country with shipping and logistics infrastructure.
What payment methods do you accept? Is checkout secure?
- Our payment methods include Apple Pay, Google Pay, Stripe Checkout, and also WooCommerce. Each of these methods is 100% secure and we do not store any credit card account or credit card numerical information during any checkout process.
Are prices listed in USD? Do prices include tax?
- All prices start at USD based on the price set in California. They do change currencies based on orders from different countries using a standard foreign currency conversion process based on the exchange rates at the time of the order.
Will I have to pay customs duties or import fees on international orders?
- In most case you will not have to pay customs duties or import fees in various countries, especially not the USA. A key reason Printful was chosen as the print supplier was due to the fact that they have the ability to ship from various warehouses located around the world in a way that avoids assessing import duties to customers of various countries. In the event that you are assess an import duty for your order, you will make payment through the shipping carrier responsible for delivery of your order. However, this should not occur in most cases.
Do you collect / sell my personal information?
You may read our privacy policy. There is no reason for us to collect your personal information or store it anywhere unless it is for the purpose of delivering your order or keeping track of past orders if you use our customer account login page (such as logging in with your Google Account). In the event you sign up for our newsletter, you will receive email updates, and may still opt out at any time should you not want to receive the updates.
Why don’t you have characters on your clothing from Anime shows or movies? I only see imagery of things I’ve never heard of?
We don’t have any royalty agreements with various studios or artists such as Shuichi Shigeno (the creator of Initial D) or the brands that make each animation, such as MF Ghost, or other shows such as “Top Gear”.
The law in the US and the rest of the world is you have to approach these studios, creators, artists and brands prior to listing items sold with graphics printed using their artwork, which in most cases is protected by a trademark or copyright or both.
Once you are granted permission, they receive a cut or percentage or proceeds from each sale with their artwork on clothing prints and you may keep conducting business with them.
Should you do this with a business such as ours and be found out that you are doing so without permission, you could receive cease and desist orders and also be sued in court.
For this reason we decided to create our own brand with a US registered trademark, “Anonymous Driver”, which is now almost fully registered and approved.
However, our plan was to show some business progress and sales revenue prior to approaching studios, auto manufacturers, and network television show producers so that we have a better chance to create some more cool stuff with better designs and the ability to resonate with fans of different brands in the future.
